Training

New Clients

Naturally, all new clients receive extensive training during their initial installation, and all training sessions are woven into the implementation schedule. Typically, these training sessions include a five day end user training of the core RMS modules, a two day system administrator training, and a four day student web training. The end user training is designed for people who plan to use RMS on a daily basis while the system administrator training covers more technical aspects such RMS user permissions, setting up mail merge letters/emails and set-up table updates. Given its complexity, the student web has its own separate training as does other specialized modules like the conference and the judicial modules.

Schedules and training requirements of all the above training are included in the welcome packet that all new clients receive.

Current Clients

RMS offers a wide array of training courses and sessions designed to help current clients with training new staff, or to increase knowledge in a particular aspect of RMS, or to simply act as a refresher/review for current users. These training courses and sessions range from a several days to our Webinar series of web-presented topics. Please click on the course listings below for a description and schedule of each:

In addition to the above, many clients have opted for a user defined schedule where the client identifies the subject matter.

RMS is constantly reviewing the suitability of our training programs and welcome comments and suggestions for additional courses and improvements.
