Plans proceed for user's conference

The RMS User Executive Board would like to remind you to submit your requests for RMS enhancements and functionality to PEP website. This site replaces the previous 'Wish List' that was maintained. The submissions will be reviewed on a regular basis by the Development Subcommittee and shared with RMS.

Note that you will need to select your University or Organization's name from the dropdown login box and then input your School/client password. Only one login account per school is permitted.

2009 Conference
The executive board is in full swing planning the 2009 RMS Users Conference. The conference will be held in the beautiful Hilton, located in the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, FL. The dates are March 22-25th, so go ahead and make plans to attend! A call for programs went out and we encourage anyone who has either recently went live with a new feature of RMS or experience with a module that new members could benefit from your experience to sign up to present at the conference.

Call for Programs The strength of any conference experience begins with a solid foundation of programs.  Added with the components of networking, camaraderie, and life-long friendships, the program is the key component to completing the conference for each of us as participants.

Now is the time. We need your program submissions to insure a successful 2009 Annual RMS User’s Conference. Attached is the Call for Programs for this year’s conference. Please note the deadline is November 1st.  We all know that RMS is being utilized in some great ways. Please consider sharing your work with your peers.

Registration Fee: To qualify for early registration, $695.00 per delegate is due no later than October 31, 2008. Registrations received after October 31, 2008 will be at $750.00 per delegate.

Hotel Information: Rooms are being held at the Hilton Hotel. To reserve your room, call the Reservations Line at 1-407-827-4000 and reference the Residential Management Systems Conference. A limited block is available, so we encourage you to register early.
Single and double rooms are available at a conference rate of $199/night plus tax. Rooms must be reserved by October 31, 2008, to guarantee the conference rate.

Executive Board
Congratulations to Kathy Casey (California State University, Chico) for her election into the executive board as the Member at Large. She is replacing the seat vacated by Joe Smallberger (Temple University). A special thanks to Joe Smallberger for his service on the executive board. Joe served on the board as the Member at Large for the past two years.
