Overview

Residential Management Systems has been developing our fully web based product for over 15 years. The product is designed to meet the specific needs of tertiary and other residential institutions.

Previous products designed to cater for this section of the accommodation industry were clumsy and restricted and required a high level of computer competency. They were also difficult to use and limited in their scope.

Residential Management Systems brings a whole new dimension to residential management with the combination of power, functionality and ease of use. These three factors dominated the original design of this system in 1994 and continue to be the guiding principles in the ongoing development.

Unlike other products RMS is not simply an adaptation of some previous piece of software. It is designed specifically for Residential Halls and Colleges with their peculiar needs in mind. That is why every module from the unique and powerful Application/Assignments module to the Conference Management package is fully integrated to provide a coherent solution to help meet the needs of modern tertiary residential establishments.

Background

RMS established an alliance to provide the most sophisticated and integrated residential management and telecommunications software systems available. RMS has been effectively providing software and service for our broad client base for more than 12 years. We employ over 30 full time staff and maintain offices in North America, Canada, United Kingdon and Australia. RMS owns appropriate resources to perform a wide range of product development and services. As a software solutions based company, the structure we employ to service our customers is straightforward. There are three divisions within the company, each providing particular expertise. The divisions of RMS are;

Software Development Division:

Providing expertise in continuing elaboration, updating and development of new software. This section performs large and small scale projects with the integrated skills of specialists in various program platforms, enabling us to provide software to compliment our customers need.

Operations Division:

This is a customer focused, service based part of our business. Typically, this division services our customers for all training, software support, and assistance they require from time to time in the running of their particular application. Importantly, this division provides specialist labor directly to our clients, either on-site or on-line.

Sales Division:

The sales division provides a consultative approach, discovering the needs of clients in their particular situation and matching the correct software package. Our aim is to provide Residential management tools that allow flexibility to accommodate our clients' unique residential management and telecommunication requests.

RMS have commercial complimentary trading alliances with Copyguard, Dataproducts, Oracle and Microsoft. We also maintain alliances with Blackboard Inc., VingCard Persona, Onity, Ilco Unican and PeopleSoft, SunGard SCT and Oracle.

The alliances with these companies not only allows RMS to build a seamless integration in relation to these specific products but provides the customer access to associated products that they know are proven and reliable in their operation with the software applications.

Development Agreements

Our development agreements with companies such as Microsoft and Oracle ensures RMS have the latest technology available for developing its products. Their agreements also give RMS the ability to provide superior support for unique client situations.
